A Motion of Chefs

Retratos do Gosto is a brand, a motion that unites people who love gastronomy, to people who love the Earth. It is a union for access, propagation and incentive to the growing and fairer commercialization of better food. A union for dignity, for economic and gastronomic value.

It is the product of a concern, of a wish to see the prosperity of those who work with agriculture, planting and harvesting taste in the form of exceptional products.

THE REWARD OF PRODUCERS

At Retratos do Gosto, each producer will receive, in addition to a fair reward, financial support for technical training and/or social actions close to the people/communities which work in the production. This support will be in the amount of 25% of the results generated by their products and will be donated by Alex Atala, brand partner, who in turn chooses not to receive any payment for his participation and work. The other Chefs who support Retratos do Gosto will do it without expecting any financial benefits.

CLEAR OBJECTIVES

Promote products of superior quality and support its producers, guaranteeing continuous production with fair reward, and commercialization and distribution with higher effectiveness and sustainability.

Promote the union between producers and consumers.
Give producers the deserved protagonism with consumers.

DIVISION OF COMPETENCIES

It is the producer´s competency to work the land and produce food.
It is the Chefs ‘competency to select the products and producers they will support.
